This is the first ever attempt to Circumnavigate Flores Island by Indonesian Sea Kayakers. Sea Kayaking is comparatively new adventure genre for Indonesians, and this expedition aim to be the first big scale Sea Kayak Expedition by Indonesians.

Yoppi was a mountaineer who had successfully managed the Wanadri World Seven Summits team and made 4 Wanadri members became Indonesia’s world seven summiters. Joined Wanadri since 1983.
Eventually he fell in love with Sea Kayaking and currently leading the Flores Sea Kayak Expedition. Although he is the most senior in the team, he is so far proved to be the most resilient mentally. He can be a commanding and effective leader, without losing sense of humor and jovial spirit.
Joined Wanadri in 2014, Derry is the Head of Operation for this expedition. His experience on expeditions are first descent of the Salo Uro river in Sulawesi, and the first ascent of Yamin Peak, Bintang Mountains, Papua (2016).
Known to be a discerning leader when he heads the Wanadri branch in Jakarta. He is also a Sea Kayak guide on Jakarta’s Northern archipelago. Derry comes from Pontianak, Kalimantan/Borneo.
Sandi Subandi is the Head of Training, he is in charge to make all team members have strandard skills needed for this expedition. He joined Wanadri in 2012. He did a first descent expedition in Kluet River, Aceh (2013) , with his rafting team. He also worked as Sea Kayak guide in Misool, Raja Ampat.
He is so far the strongest in the group, and very dedicated to making the right syllabus for Tropical Sea Kayaking. Saprol is also a certified Life Guard.
Ayu, also known to friends as Moli, is the Treasurer and also Secertary of the team. This Balinese young woman joined Wanadri in 2018 and is the only female in the team.
Aside from mountaineering she was also into diving before she is interested in Sea Kayaking, currently pursuing to be a Sea Kayak guide. Her soft way of speaking hides her very assertive personality, which made her perfect in her organisational role. Moli also is acertified Life Guard.
Nicolas Apriadi is the Logistics manager of the team. This man from North Sumatera joined Wanadri in 2018. His experience in expedition was the first descent of Woyla River, Aceh (2021). When Nico joined the expedition team, he is the least experienced in kayaking. But only in a couple of months, Nico is almost the most skillful of the team. Nico is also certified Life Guard.
Priyo joined Wanadri in 2010. In this expedition he is the Publications manager. He is currently the most experienced Indonesian Sea Kayak guide.
He also co-founded Indonesia’s first Sea Kayak community, Sea Kayak Indonesia, in 2014. But aside from his profession, his passion for history, literature, and art is very deep, which makes him known to have a peculiar outlook about Sea Kayaking. He also writes articles about his paddle journeys.
Teguh is the land supports and communications manager of the team. Joined Wanadri in 2016, besides being a mountaineer, Teguh is a skillful driver, had experiences in tough and chellanging roads including in Flores.
He is also eager to always learned new skills, and currently he became a certified drone pilot. Teguh is very dedicated to his role as the land support of the team, while also having a helpful sense of humor all the time.
